DESCRIPTION
Bigfoot Bolt and Brews Tour brings 5K runners, bigfoot experts, and beer together while promoting fun and community.

This is the first year for Bigfoot Bolt and Brews Tour. It’s an event that connects people to the bigfoot culture and showcases local breweries while raising funds to promote primate conservation.

Thank you for considering our event. This event is 2 parts. Saturday is the speaking event. The speakers include Cliff Barackman of Animal Planets “Finding Bigfoot”, The Olympic Project featuring Shane Corson, Marc Myrsell an expert on the Ape Canyon incident , Guy Edwards of Bigfoot Lunch Club and Brain Jar Media, and Todd and Diane Neiss of The American Primate Conservancy. McMenamins, Deschutes Brewery, and The Deschutes Historical Museum will be hosting the speakers. Check in starts at 9:15 am Saturday at McMenamins Old St. Francis School. All locations kick off at 10am. You pick where you want to start and after the speaker is done you walk to the next location to hear a new speaker. Speakers will give their presentation several times. Cliff Barackman and Todd and Diane Neiss will be at McMenamins, The Olympic Project with Shane Corson will be at Deschutes Brewery, and Marc Myrsell will be at The Deschutes Historical Museum. Guy Edwards will be our roaming MC. There will be a room at McMenamins to talk to the speakers, meet sponsors, buy bigfoot related goods, and purchase drinks and food. All locations will also have a brew expert say a few words about their craft and answer any questions.

Sunday, August 12, @10 am meet us at Riverbend Park for a 5K run to benefit the non-profit Chimps Inc. which is located outside Bend. Chimps Inc, is a chimpanzee rescue. We will not have alcohol at the run. Tickets for this event will be sold separately. Please check Eventbrite soon for details.
