Dave Gibson, along with his wife Pamela, fell into bigfooting after moving into a rustic cabin while building a home in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. The couple, who typically winter in Florida, had previously lived on a trawler boat, before construction on their mountain home began.
At first, Gibson was a skeptic of all the oddity going on around him while living in rural environs, but soon the evidence added up that something or someone was visiting him and his wife on a regular basis, making fingerprints on their vehicle, lingering in the forest treeline to watch the couple and eventually leaving them gifts. Pamela developed a special relationship with one juvenile sasquatch who was fond of leaving her not only flowers but occasionally, half of a squirrel. Dave, a year into his journey, was gifted round things, included metal parts brought to his cabin seemingly out of nowhere.
Gibson’s experiences are chronicled in his self-penned 2016 book: “Living Among Sasquatch: A Primer.” The book is an earnest, blogpost-like telling of how an unexpected relationship with the sasquatch began to unfold, much to his disbelief at first. “Truly, no one is more amazed than they are,” his book notes of how bigfoot found them. He describes the sasquatch people they came into contact with as “incredible beings.”
